The piece is inspired by the carefree living of the hippies. I constructed this dress with a medium weight jersey knit, and constricted the bodice and skirt together and bleach dyed the fabric with a swirl technique. While I dyed the sleeves separately with a scrunch method. I then used leaf fringe off a thrifted scarf to add extra detail to the bodice.
